What airline allows scuba gear on for free?

Does anyone know of an airline that allows you to bring your scuba gear on for free, similar to how golf equipment or surfboards are not counted in the maximum baggage allowance?

You will need to check with specific airlines.Some will allow most of your gear but none will allow a tank. You can check your regulator, fins, mask and other associated gear. Knives and spears would probably not be allowed. It is all counted toward your baggage allowance and subject to excess baggage fees.
