Second there is not a surfboard do you know about hm’s? like hm 01 cut and hm 05 flash you get surf after getting Flannery the 4th gym leader and then you go back to battle your dad for the 5th badge after that go the house next to the gym you talk with wallys father and he will give you hm 03 surf
